More than ten hours of the online music, visual and performing arts programme taking place in 14 Novi Sad spaces for culture, including the first City Concert Hall, Fabrika, Skladište, Biro and Čeličana in Great Liman, Novi Sad Theatre and the network of cultural stations, and almost 100 artists, will be presented to the audience on 13 January, within the Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture programme arch – Doček 7529. The programme will be available on visitns.rs platform
The audience will have an opportunity to listen to Filip Arsenijević, a young rapper who’s going to perform in the Novi Sad Theatre together with an innovative band ‘Surreal & Beyond’ with jazz accompaniment. This music fusion will perform online, on the new visitns.rs platform, on 13 January.
‘Online Doček is an awesome idea, a lot of genres are included, Električni Orgazam, Surreal, who is very active in hip hop, a different sound that we bring to the table, and then there’s Vasil, so this is really something we’d like to hear in person,’ said both Luka Racić and Zoran Zarubica, members of the band ‘Buč Kesidi.’ The audience will have an opportunity to hear the band within the online Doček 7529, on the visitns.rs platform.
Stefan Milenković and the Novi Sad chamber orchestra ‘Camerata Academica’ will host Vasil Hadžimanov, the great jazz musician, pianist and composer.
Novi Sad, the future European Capital of Culture, presents the online multimedia opera spectacle ‘Rigoletto’ to audience around the world for the New Year's Eve on 31 December at 6 p.m. on the visitns.rs platform.
Doček 7529 will present new spaces for culture on the Visit Novi Sad online platform on 13 January, including the first cultural station opened in Novi Sad, the Egység Cultural Station, where Lana Zorjan, the young violinist will perform within.
Doček in Novi Sad, which connects two celebrations of New Year’s Eve, two calendars and two ways of measuring time, will continue its tradition, but in online form, by opening new spaces for culture so that Serbian Athens can welcome the title of the European Capital of Culture. The first City Concert Hall, Fabrika, Skladište, Biro and Čeličana at the Great Liman and a network of cultural stations will be presented to the audience in a new way.
