The Memlah band will perform as part of Doček 7532 at the Diego café bar on January 13, starting at 8 p.m. Band Memlah, a trio that has been on the music scene since 2000, is a classic rock band consisting of drummer Darko Kurjak, guitarist Aleksandar Martinov, bassist Miloš Kralj and saxophone virtuoso Lehel Nađ.

Exciting gigs in clubs in Zrenjanin, as well as the opportunity that arose for the band Memlah to be recognized on Cross Radio, opened the door to frequent concert performances and conquering festival stages. Their musical adventure took them to the most prestigious festivals in the region, such as EXIT in 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2009, REFRACT Festival in 2002 and 2006 in Belgrade, JAZZ FEST in Zelenkovac (B&H) in 2002, in Istria (Croatia) in 2007 and Banja Luka at the Jazzlook Festival in 2008.

Memlah not only nurtures, but also shapes an instrumental sound that explores the boundaries of modern electronic music. Combining elements of jazz, house, drum ‘n’ bass and Balkan ethno sound, they undoubtedly invite listeners to a unique sound experience. The culmination of their creative explosion took place at the end of 2006 in the Fat Factory studio in Zrenjanin, where they recorded their first material with producer Attila Gyombera.
