The best guitarist of the Balkans and a legend of the regional rock scene, Vlatko Stefanovski, performs with his trio and brings a recognizable blend of traditional and rock rhythms. He is the founder of the famous band Leb i Sol, with which he performed all over the world, while he later released several solo albums, and wrote music for films and theatre plays, as well as for the biggest Yugoslav superstar, Zdravko Čolić. At Doček 7532, he will perform at the Petőfi Sándor Cultural Centre at 9 p.m.
His unique guitar technique and tone became recognizable, and his collaboration with guitarist Miroslav Tadić shed new light on his exploration of Macedonian traditional music. Stefanovski has also collaborated with supreme artists such as Tommy Emmanuel and Gibonni, and his work includes music for film, theatre and ballet.
