Milutin and Mileva as the beginning and end of the European Capital of Culture title year
Mileva and Milutin were the central figures of the official opening of the European Capital of Culture, on 13 January this year, through the ‘Zeniteum’ spectacle. The ‘Milutin: Time and Universe’ exhibition was inspired by Milanković’s work, and now the circle will be closed with the ‘Mileva: We Are One Rock’ exhibition, as the crown of the title year, since the exhibitions represent one whole. While through the ‘Milutin: Time and Universe’ programme, the famous Studio M got a completely new look, now the same has been done with the 1,200 square metres of the renovated part of the City Museum of Novi Sad at the Petrovaradin Fortress, where the exhibition ‘Mileva: We Are One Rock’ will be installed.
During the last day of 2022, but also during the New Year’s Eve, there will be numerous expert guides through the exhibitions ‘Mileva: We Are one Rock’ and ‘Milutin: Time and Universe’. Admission to both exhibitions is free of charge, but registration is required. Both exhibitions will be open on 1 and 3 January from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., while ‘Milutin: Time and Universe’ will be open on 2 January as well.
The exclusive sponsor of the exhibition ‘Mileva: We Are One Rock’ is Erste Bank.
