Bulevar Books, an independent bookstore that occupies three floors in the centre of Novi Sad, is a space of freedom with a large selection of books and music. For a decade now, through live concerts, a literary and other speaking programmes, it has been supporting small, independent labels and the neglected, alternative music scene.

The bookstore, which offers a large selection of popular and professional literature, textbooks, comics and gramophone records, is located on the boulevard that connects the Petrovaradin Fortress with the Futoška Market, the Serbian National Theatre and the Dormition Church, in Mihajla Pupina Boulevard 6, opposite the Arena cinema.

The performance of the local ska-jazz group Deep Steady, which performs a unique version of old school instrumental music seasoned with groovy rhythms and creative improvisations, will be held at the Bulevar Books bookstore on 13 January as part of Doček 7531.
