Konstrakta & Zemlja Gruva are performing within Doček at the Serbian National Theatre on Jovan Đorđević stage on 13 January at 11 p.m. Konstrakta conquered Europe, broke streaming records, enchanted us with her spontaneity, and now, it’s time to be healthy together and celebrate the year 7531!
Ana Đurić, better known as Konstrakta, has been a member of the band Zemlja Gruva since its founding. With the ‘In Corpore Sano’ song, Konstrakta acquired regional popularity almost overnight by winning the Pesma za Evroviziju ‘22, which made her the Serbian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin (Italy) in 2022. She has been working in the field of music for 20 years, and she traces her roots back to the band Mistake Mistake, with whom she performed until 2007. The same year, members of the Mistake Mistake band, Zoe Kida, MC Milovan and Konstrakta, formed the Zemlja Gruva band, the Gruvlend Independent Production Company & Record Label Audio Production, which became the backbone of all other projects of the collective.
Zemlja Gruva band has released two LP albums so far (’WTF is Gruvlend?’ in 2010 and ‘Šta stvarno želiš?’ in 2016), an EP edition dedicated to Dino Dvornik and several singles, in which Konstrakta’s songs achieved great success. Some of the band’s best-known hits that took her on tour across the former Yugoslavia are ‘Nisam znala da sam ovo htela’, ‘Django’, ‘Plodni dani’, ‘Jednom je sada’, ‘Tuga’, ‘Mama’ and other.
She started her solo career by releasing songs under the Gruvland label in 2019 and instantly attracted the audience’s attention with genre innovations in the songs ‘Žvake’ and ‘Neam Šamana’.
‘Triptih’, a conceptual combination of three different compositions, has been trending for weeks, won the official Billboard’s Croatia Song list and became a viral hit with over a million views on the YouTube platform. In addition to ‘In Corpore Sano’, the ‘Triptih’ includes the songs ‘Mekano’ and ‘Nobl’.
This summer, she is going to perform at almost all festivals in the region, together with the Zemlja Gruva band, with whom she will perform both solo projects and the band’s greatest hits. Because an artist – has to be healthy!
