Two New Years. Two calendars. Two alphabets. Two concepts.

Doček 2023 and Doček 7531 in Novi Sad connect two measures of time, as well as visual art and music, raising the capacities of the local art scene while celebrating the uniqueness of the European Capital of Culture 2022’s diversity.

The blend of visual art and music, as universal languages that we all understand, distinguishes Doček, and therefore Novi Sad, as a city that will provide Novi Sad residents and guests of the city, with unique audio and visual experience, both on 31 December and 13 January.

Visual artists took care of visual identities and stage effects that provided a new experience of enjoying the performances of local, regional, and world stars, of the most diverse genres.

During the previous 6 years, Doček was held at almost 100 locations in Novi Sad: Petrovaradin Fortress, Synagogue, Suburbium, District, Reformed Christian Church, Name of Mary Church, City Concert Hall, Serbian National Theatre, Studio M, etc.

Doček, together with the Kaleidoscope of Culture, brought Novi Sad the award for the European Trend Brand in the field of culture, held in Dresden in November 2021.
