The two legendary vocals of the local pop and hard rock scene, after more than successful collaboration on their single ‘Gde si?’ (Eng. Where Are You?), the first online concert during the lockdown and joint live performances across the region, Đorđe David and Ivana Peters will make a night to remember at Barka CS on 13 January at 9 p.m. as part of Doček 7531.
Ivana Peters, better known as Ivana Negativ, is a Serbian pop-rock singer. She was recognised as a singer of two bands: ‘Tap 011’ and ‘Negativ’. She was the vocalist in the ‘Očo boje duge’ song (Eng. Rainbow Coloured Eyes) with Dr. Iggy. She recorded three albums and participated at numerous festivals with the ‘Tap 011’ group.
After leaving the group, she switched genres, becoming the lead vocalist of the ‘Negativ’ rock band, with whom she has recorded four albums so far. With Ivana’s voice, rebellious attitude, and the energy of other members of the band, ‘Negativ’ became one of the most popular local bands.
Đorđe Nikolić, better known as Đorđe David, is a Yugoslav and Serbian actor, the former vocalist of the bands ‘Generacija 5’ and ‘Fuzzbox, and the current frontman of the Death Saw group. He acted in numerous plays, and films ‘Šmeker’, ‘The Dark Side of the Sun’ and ‘Prokleti pas’. He appeared in TV shows ‘Doktorka na selu’, ‘Vuk Karadžić’ and ‘Sinđelići’.
He built his career along with his acting career. From 1986 to 1990, he performed at ‘MESAM’ festival and ‘Belgrade Spring Festival’. He was a member of the ‘Generation 5’ group from 1992 until 2000. He recorded several albums with different bands and one solo album entitled ‘Balkan’. Since 2018, he is the president of the Management Board of the Youth Theatre DADOV.
