Petar Bilbija + Danica Crnogorčević

Audio-visual designer Petar Bilbija will present his video works at the performance by Danica Crnogorčević on the ‘Jovan Đorđević’ stage of the Serbian National Theatre on 13 January at 7 p.m.

Petar Bilbija was born in Split, Croatia, on 8 February 1982. He graduated from the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka at the Film and TV Directing Department in 2009. Although his formal education was mainly focused on film art, the dominant and largest part of his professional career is occupied by work in the field of music, original and applied. He composed, in addition to independent projects dealing with mostly electronic music, original music for many performances in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia and France. In addition to music, he created several self-penned works in the field of video design and stage projection mapping in a theatre. When it comes to film art, he composed original music for several award-winning feature-length, animated and short films ‘32. Decembar’ (2009), ‘Stepenište’ (2013), ‘Kostakurta’ (2019), and original music for TV shows ‘Meso’ (2017), ‘Kosti’ (2019), ‘Hotel Balkan’ (2020), ‘Advokado’ (2021). He has also created several works in the field of digital and generative art, animation, and projection mapping. He held solo exhibitions of digital graphics in Serbia and abroad, where the ‘Pikselbombing’ multimedia work at the ‘Creative Code’ Festival in the Lightbox Gallery in New York in 2020 attracted great attention. He is employed at the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska as an audio/video designer.
