Lab Cultural Centre

Lab Cultural Centre

This modernist space, a three-story villa that dates back to 1934, is located in Dr Hampta Street, close to Futoški Park. It houses the Lab Cultural Centre, opened with the idea of becoming a meeting place and experiment for self-employed professionals, creative groups and companies operating in the field of creative economies, social entrepreneurship and culture.

It was founded in 2017 and since then it has been considered one of the main gathering places for young people in Novi Sad who are eager for innovative social and artistic practices. The Lab serves as a gallery, cinema, concert hall, residence, workspace or simply a place to enjoy a coffee or craft beer. The centre is visited by between 500 and 1,000 people per week, which speaks volumes about its reputation among fellow citizens.

On 13 January, the Macedonian trap band Dope Kukjata will perform in the Cultural Centre Lab, with the support of local rappers Kene Beri and Zicer.
