Tijana Jevrić + Space Motion & Tribe

Tijana Jevrić will present her audio-visual work at the musical performance by Space Motion & Tribe within Doček in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina at 10 p.m.

Tijana Jevrić (1997, Novi Sad) is a multimedia artist. Her work is based on the research of the ever-growing impact of media culture as a producer of social ‘reality’ and conscious. She researches the movement of an individual in virtual space. The media she uses are site-specific and audio-visual installations in the space. She graduated from the New Media Art Department at the Academy of Art in Novi Sad, where she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the same programme. She has presented her artistic works in Serbia and abroad, including the Cultural Centre of Serbia in Paris, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina, Ars Electronica – the Austrian cultural, educational and scientific institute active in the field of new media art in Linz and many others. She is the winner of the award for the best artistic work in the field of New Media (2020), and the Best Artistic Solution of the Inclusive Gallery (2021). She participated and was an author in several workshops in Serbia and abroad. She had six screenings of her short films at several film festivals and three documentaries at the Ars Electronica Festival in 2021. She currently works as a graphic designer at the Bel Art Gallery, ‘Galerija na štrafti’, and the ‘Danube Dialogues’ contemporary art festival. She lives and works in Novi Sad.
